Flaming Idols are altar candles featuring inspiring figures of the LGBTQ community, created and handmade by Philadelphia artist and activist Robin Markle.
 
Mariah Carey has covered a lot of ground – and octaves – in her career. Many of her songs have struck a chord with gay fans. Mariah explains that she “writes songs from an outsider perspective. I have songs about feeling different and alienated, because I grew up with my own issues, being biracial and not having money. Some of those lyrics can apply to anybody who feels different."
