Even before her open letter of support to Frank Ocean, gays knew Beyoncé was here for us. Her over-the-top outfits and go-girl empowerment anthems captured our hearts and provided runway anthems for countless balls and drag shows. She may be married to a man, but she says “If you like it you should be able to put a ring on it. #wewillunite4marriagequality.” It might not be the most radical message, but from Queen Bey, we’ll take it.
