Prince is iconic. His flamboyant outfits and androgynous image fueled gay rumors - and gay fantasies - for decades, but he was only known to date women. Central to Prince's celebrity was the way he transcended gender norms with his clothing and make up. In his hit “I Would Die 4 U,” he crooned, “I’m not a woman / I’m not a man / I am something that you’ll never understand.” RIP Prince!
