This artistically rendered playing card deck is the project of Justin Duerr, a Philadelphia-based artist, musician, and author/researcher. This deck features 56 hand-drawn illustrations (52 standard cards, the card back, and three jokers) and adheres to the oldest known design elements and characters based on the history of playing card motifs and symbology.  The cards are printed on sturdy, glossy stock meant for playing. The deck includes the "Blue Joker" for games that require a third joker.
