Flaming Idols are altar candles featuring inspiring figures of the LGBTQ community, created and handmade by Philadelphia artist and activist Robin Markle.

Queen Latifah has excelled in several careers — rapper, jazz singer, producer, actress, and now as a model for Cover Girl. She really has it all — and if the rumors are true, a cute girlfriend to boot! But despite mainstream LGBT news organizations running stories almost every month about how she’s finally come out, Queen Latifah has always refused to talk about it. Still she’s played queer characters from butch bank robber Cleo in 1998’s Set It Off to bisexual blues legend Bessie Smith in 2015, and officiated gay marriage ceremonies at the Grammys, so we know she’s got our backs, even if she’s not interested in talking about who’s got hers.

You might light this candle and look to Queen Latifah for inspiration and guidance in: success in a new career, good luck in a competition, singing amazing karaoke

Each unscented soy wax candle burns for approximately 10 hrs. Glass votives are 2.5" high and 2" wide at the base.
