Vellum Street products, made by a Philly-based former chef and bakery owner, are all about sustainability. Maker Melissa Torre upcycles food-grade ingredients from local culinary purveyors into her luxurious, skin-nourishing formulas.

Tallow, coming from our bovine brethren, is molecularly much closer to the oils your body produces than plant-derived ones, so it delivers a moderate and pH balanced boost, even gradually helping to heal the skin, causing you to need less over time. Grass fed tallow is full of fat soluble vitamins A, D, K, and E, which are readily available for cellular uptake, providing deep and regenerative moisture.

The lip balm also contains local, unadulterated beeswax, for a firmer consistency.
