Join us on Saturday, November 12 from 6-9 pm for “Magic & Mayhem”, the opening party for the 2012 calendar by West Philly artist Corina Dross and her sister, painter Josie Mosser. So-called because the world will end in 2012 (according to Mayan prophecy), “The Last Calendar You’ll Ever Need” features spectacular, oracular visions of the end of days.
Corina Dross, creator of last year’s sensational card deck “Portable Fortitude“, has been showing her work at VIX since 2007, when her playing card magnets were made on the backs of actual playing cards. We are so proud of Corina for how far she’s come and are thrilled to host the official opening party for her amazing, limited-edition calendar. Both she and Josie will be in attendance to ring in the beginning of the end, accompanied by light refreshments.
