These luxurious cashmere hand warmers are a perennial customer favorite and a gift that is always appreciated. Cozy and ultra-soft, they are perfect for chilly days or drafty indoor spaces.

Each pair is handmade by Maryanne Petrus-Gilbert of Sardine Clothing in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia. She and her small team deconstruct second-hand cashmere sweaters, T-shirts, and other discarded garments for material to create their 100% upcycled appliquéd clothing line.

The gloves are sized for the average woman’s hand and wrist, roughly 3 to 4 inches wide, with plenty of give. They have sewn-in thumb sleeves, a feature many fingerless glove designs lack. And while some are hemmed, we try to pick examples that incorporate the garment’s original finished edge in the design. Each is unique, handmade, one-of-a-kind, and 100% upcycled (apart from the thread and tag).

This pair is purple cashmere with a light blue poppy cashmere appliqué.

Care instructions: Hand wash in COLD water with Woolite or shampoo. Fold into a clean, dry towel and press to remove excess water. Do not wring. Lay flat to dry. OR Dry Clean.

Because each pair is handmade of upcycled materials, minor irregularities are to be expected and are not considered defects.
